heblayo.com pictures from Somali Week Festival 2014 – Part 1

The Somali Week Festival is an annual event organised by Kayd Somali Arts and Culture which showcases the best of Somali arts and culture, both old and new. The festival offers a mix of events including poetry, literature, panel discussions, documentary film screenings, music and theatre. Through these different artistic forms, Somali Week Festival has explored a variety of themes in past years and has become a widely recognized and anticipated annual event in the UK.

This was an ideal event for heblayo.com to take part in and we thoroughly enjoyed the 3 nights we took part, meeting so many people along the way. Below is a selection of pictures from  Sunday the 26th October 2014 which was the finale for this year’s Somali Week Festival.
